Executive Announcements

Christmas  Lunch Dec 13th 11:30 at Radisson.  $30 for guests. Let Helen know the number of guests you will have. Thank you Patti Schweighardt of Radisson Hotel for appies and other treats they provide to us. There will be a wine draw...if you wish to participate bring a bottle of wine and someone will go home with all the wine! Charity this year is YMCA Strong Kids.

Nominations are now being taken for Jack Rudolph Member of the Year Award.

Cleve Len of EY (treasurer) handed out invoices for 2018.  Fees stayed the same as last year $475 + 23.75 total $498.75 due in large part to Radisson Hotel not increasing cost of breakfast. Bring your chq to the Christmas lunch or give to him prior to Jan 1. 2018.

Brenda Thompson of Harvest Brewing and incoming Madame Secretary passed around speaker sign up for 2018. Contact her if you wish to get on the list.

Darlene Danyliw of Mr. Print - They are moving!  Next week to Miller and 51st (old Sutherland Auto Building).

Lyle Burkell of Saskatoon Funeral Home reminded all about the Enchanted Forrest is now open and get out to a great display and support the City Hospital and Zoo Foundations.

Andy Pawlovitch of Pawlovitch Chiropractic reminded that the Toasty Toes campaign ends Nov 24th.  Get those new socks in!

Speaker | Lee Maxwell Colliers International

Gave a very interesting talk on the state of commercial real estate in saskatoon.

Graduate of Evan Hardy and U of S Edwards School of Business (MGT).  Started with Colliers as a Research Coordinator for 18 months.  Then became licenced agent specializing in Retail Leasing.

Retail Market - ok but down from super heated market recent past.

Industrial Market is currently a Balanced market

Office Market has very high vacancy especially down town.

Sergeant at Arms

Don Ewart and Tyson N13 fleeced us with their usual flair.

Hidden Hand

Andy Pawlovitch did a great job as hidden hand and got the latecomers and shy hands.
