Executive Announcements

A by-law Review Committee has been formed. Please email Lyle Burkell with any suggestions for revision. A presentation will be made to the club in October. Cheryl received word just now that her granddaughter has been born. :) She started crying a little bit.

Membership: Giselle reminds us that different readings will take place if your membership category changes. For example: Roger is now with Direct Home Solutions in the category of Flooring. His 3 readings are complete with that new company and category even though he is a long time member.

1st reading today for Steve Hogle from Saskatoon Blade and Bookkeeper Jennifer Christen. Also 1st reading for Keith Gudmunson's new business name.

Social Announcements

Sharon announces 722 Club's 30th Anniversary Comedy and 80's Dance night! Tickets are 60$ for members and Guests until SEPT. 27th. The club is subsidizing this event but it has been organized by our past membership. Hope to see everyone there. General Announcements

Steve Hogle for Saskatoon Blades updates us on the Saskatoon Blades. They have a new general manager and many other staff. Bob Woods comes to the team from the NHL and he hails from Leroy, SK. Jeff Sharp has a new delivery guy on staff. Jeff's wife Barb has been tested and is now in remission, free of Cancer. :) Giselle with SaskTel is happy to announce that they have won a JD Power and Assoc. Award for the 3rd year in a row for Western Canadian Category of Full Service Telecommunications. Also that the Credit Union Centre will as of October 1st be known as the SaskTel Centre. A ten year agreement was just struck with the City of Saskatoon, and the Saskatchewan Place Association. Dwight Buckle of TD Canada Trust is pleased to announce that they have been awarded Best Customer Service award over the 5 other major Canadian Banks. Jeff Ford with the Lions Group attended as a guest.
