Executive Announcements

Pat thanked Shirley and the Radisson for another awesome breakfast. The Christmas luncheon is on December 18th, guest price is $25.00 this year. Please RSVP to Pat by December 11th if you are going. The charity of choice this year will be the Canadian Red Cross. With the recent crisis in the Philippines we thought this is a fitting choice this year. Mike Jenkins reminded us of the President's Beach Party on January 18th. He had sent an email out and thanked those who had RSVP already. Roger has not heard back from the Blades organization about the tickets yet and will follow up and give them another call. Pat has heard from Lyle Burkell and he still on the road to recovery. Get well soon Lyle!

General Announcements

Giselle Howard told us Sasktel has hit their 100,000 Max TV customer since it was launched in 2002. What a great milestone for Sasktel. Congrats!

Speaker | Brenda Thomsen - Harvest Brewing

Harvest Brewing opened their first store in Regina in 1984 on Broad and 7th. Then opened up their 2nd store in 1985 in Edmonton and their 3rd store in 1986 in downtown Saskatoon. Brenda is excited to tell us about the opening of their NEW 2nd location store in Saskatoon at the College Park Mall. Harvest Brewing are the only Expert Wine Dealers in Saskatoon. They not only sell wine and beer making supplies they will now make the wine for you. This is an exciting news for people who have moved into condos and don't have a lot of room. Harvest has the state of the art bottling equipment that can bottle 4 bottles at a time. The price of the regular kits are $55.00 and their skins kits are $60.00. You can make all kinds of wine now from all over the world. The quality of the product of wine has changed over the years. Depending on kit you can average on producing 30 bottles of wine. The longer you leave the wine bottled the better tasting.
