Executive Announcements

Pat informed us that the next member recruitment breakfast will be Wednesday, September 2nd. From the last executive meeting it was decided that we will be purchasing some Blades tickets and some Huskie tickets for the upcoming season. Also if everyone can start thinking of a charity of choice for our donations this year. September 11 is our next Executive meeting. Anyone that wants to speak in the fall are to let Lyle Burkell know as soon as possible as there are still a few spots opened. Reminder that the River Cruise is July 22nd. John Ross thanked and told everyone how much fun the mystery golf tournament at Rosthern was. He is planing another local golf tournament for September. The next meeting is August 28th. Have a great summer everyone!

Robin (Massage Therapy) first Partner Massage Class was a great success that she is planning another one for July 30th. So come and bring along your spouse. Keith told us the NSBA is having lunch BBQ at Great Western Brewery on Tuesday, July 9th. Cheryl told us that the The Black Spruce Gallery is opened and is located on Highway #2 on route to Waskesui/Elkridge and if in the area this summer to stop on by and see the assortment of artwork she has. Pat has a new hair salon opening up and needs a stylist if anybody knows of someone to let her know.

Speaker | Ken Benson ?

Darlene Danyliw from Mister Print / Printwest had invited Ken the VIP of Sales and Marketing to speak on the exciting new Wide Format printer that was installed at the Mister Print on 8th Street location. Ken went over the various materials that can be printed on and sample packs were handed out at the tables for the members to view. There is 3 printing plant operations in Saskachewan. Printwest in Regina is head office and houses our 6 color press, Printwest on Millar Ave in Saskatoon has the web presses and has the mail house and prints magazines, The Western Producer and phone books. Mister Print on 8th Street has all the quick digital equipment and prints every thing from brochures, flyers etc. and has all the bindery capabilities from laminating, coiling, etc.

Lyle Bauer fined a lot of people AGAIN!! He was told we are short on donations and to get busy with more fines.
