Speaker | Sue Echlin - Living Sky Winery

Living Sky Winery opened in September of 2010. Sue and her husband wanted a way to stay on the farm in Perdu and thought a winery would be a way. So they have a 12 acre orchard. Their biggest challenge has been to start a winery in the province of Sask as this province is not know for wineries. The winery is a full line production winery that produces "Fruit" wines. Apple, cherry and rubbard ciders are the most popular. These wines are sold at the Farmers Markets and some restaurants but not in the Liquor board stores. Supporting and buying fruits locally is very important to them. Their motto is "Be social grow local".
