Executive Announcements

No proposed new members.

Candace Pain was an alternate for Crestview Auto.

Endorsements today included the following. Jack Rudolph with Squire Shop Mens Wear endorsed Laura Dutka with Paramount Day Spa after a visit to the new location.

Shoshana Dempsey with Locomotion Promotional Products endorsed Jana with Bills House of Flowers.

Lyle Bauer with Cherry Insurance endorsed Scott Mamer with Jubilee Ford.

Clint Thomas with Blinds Unlimited endorsed Sharon Kaendo with Leisure Travel 2000.

Dwight Buccholz with TD Canada Trust endorsed Joe Schmidt with Carstar Collision.

Lastly Vic Boryski with Boryski's Butcher Shop thanked everyone that supported his son in his soccer tournament.

Keith Moen announced the upcoming 722 elections which will be held at the next meeting Oct 28th. There are seven positions available. It is a great opportunity and experience to participate. What you get out of it is more than what you put in. Jack Rudolph has volunteered to stay as Secretary and Sharon Kaendo offered to remain as Social Coordinator. Next meeting will be closed to guests due to the election.

There will be an executive meeting after todays meeting.

Social Announcements

Sharon announced an upcoming social event either Nov 13 or 14 which will be a bowling and pizza night with family welcome. There will be more information to follow.

Reminder of our Christmas lunch on Dec 16th. At the luncheon the member of the year will be announced so keep in mind who you want to nominate.

General Announcements

Congratulations to Cheryl Tuck Taillon for winning a trip to Europe.

Giselle Howard with Sasktel made mention that Sasktel was voted top 100 Employer for the last 10 years running.

Jack is looking for speakers for Nov, Dec and January.

TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage has its grand opening on Oct 14th at the 2nd ave location.

Jack Rudolph made mention that they have in stock designer shirts for Red Shirt Rally on Nov 16th at 11am in Marketmall. Proceeds go to the support of families, veterans and troops.

Speaker | Jana Ellis with Bill's House of Flowers

Jana's dad started the flower shop in 1962 and when he passed away in 1999 Jana took over the business from her mother. Jana bought the business in 2007.

They have fresh flowers always and for any type of occasion. Their flowers are delivered daily. On fridays they have a happy hour from 2-5pm where everything is 50% off. They also carry a large selection of fruit and gourmet baskets.

Jana brought some prozes which were raffled off. Cheryl Tuck Taillon won a flower bouquet, Keith Gudmundson won a gift certificate as did Keri Schaeffer.

Joe Schmidt fined both Lyles, Jack, Sharon, Len, Keith, Keri and Candace.

Hidden Hand

Keri Schaeffer was hidden hand and Cheryl Tuck Taillon and Milton Taylor were fined.
