Speaker | Bryan Cornforth | Logomotion

Bryan started off working for Dofasco in Ontario. He worked there for 18 months and then started working for his uncle's company, Logomotion. His uncle's office is in Nanaimo and Bryan heads up their other office in Saskatoon. Logomotion sells promotional products. Businesses use them for promotion as well as employee rewards or recognition. They have about 400 - 500 suppliers. They use suppliers all over Canada as well as the U.S. but they try to support Canadian companies wherever possible. Their website can be found at

Logomotion does some logo design work but most clients already have their own logo.

Bryan has a showroom in Saskatoon so that customers can have a better look at items instead of relying on catalogue photos. Of course he cannot stock samples of everything. If a customer is truly interested in a product they do not have in stock, they are usually prepared to order in a sample. Golf shirts are one of his most popular items. Bryan says that there is almost always one golf shirt or another on special pricing at any given time. In most cases they can deliver goods within 3 weeks of the date of being ordered.

Bryan tries to sell more quality items so recipients will be more inclined to use them as intended. He points out that if a promotional product is of poor quality, the person receiving it will be less likely to use it often and then the intended advertising is not as effective.

At the close of his talk, Bryan had a draw for gifts that went to Sharon, Nicola and Sue.

Lyle Bauer fined Clarence, Jack, Dale, Mike, Perry, Sue, Sharon, Dennis, Milt and Bill.

Hidden Hand

Dennis Bellamy was our hidden hand. He gave out only 3 or 4 fines.
