Executive Announcements

Curtis Stuckel of Canarama Chiropractic is our club's newest member.

Today's Draw for 722 Dollars ($20.00) went to Lyle Burkell.

Mike Jenkins has made arrangements for a River Cruise Night on June 12 2005. He will circulate more information by email to the Club. There are only approximately 49 seats available so book yours early. Don Johnson is arranging a golf tournament for the club on June 22nd. It will be in the city instead of a mystery tour via bus. Don will announce more details later. If anyone would like to be a speaker at a future morning meeting, contact Keith Moen.

General Announcements

Lindsay Berglof of the WIllows announced that if you buy 2 dinner entrees at their dining room by May 9th you will receive 2 free rounds of golf.

Perry Schwark of Coast Wholesale Appliances announced that the showroom at their new location is almost complete. Stop by for a visit and viewing.

Dwight Buchholz invited members to support upcoming Junior Achievement functions. Contact Dwight for more information.

Speaker | Nicola Lawson | Picknic's Restaurant & Fine Pastries Ltd.

Nicola is a Chef, Pastry Chef and owner. Nicola is single but accepting applications. She received her training in Edmonton, working at a variety of locations all the way from Beaver Creek Yukon to South Africa, Bermuda and then to Saskatoon.

Nicola opened her first restaurant in downtown Saskatoon at the age of 25. Many members may recall it being in the lower level of CIBC. She eventually moved to her present location at 212-22nd Street East. She has 10 full time employees and does a brisk business over the lunch hour. Her business also caters to lunches, parties and other special events for any size of crowd. She has handled groups of 4 and 2000. Picknic's also specializes in cakes and fine pasteries.

Picknic's is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 until 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can reach Nicola at 343-7374.
